Pop! 2020

the signature fundraising experience for catalpa health
Our signature event pops-up in an unexpected location each year with a brand new theme and inspiration - but all for the same important cause - pediatric mental wellness.

In 2017, we popped up atop a parking garage for a Havana Night.
In 2018, we transformed a former paper mill into a Tokyo-inspired cityscape.
In 2019, characters from the "Where the Wild Things Are" book emerged at the former George Banta Publishing Company warehouse in Menasha, WI.

This year, amidst a pandemic, we delivered the Pop! experience directly to your doorstep! We enjoyed curating a box that can remind all of us of the fun we've had in years past - all while creating a brighter future for thousands of children and families.

On behalf of the over 9,000 children we serve, thank you for caring. Thank you for investing. Thank you for making access to outstanding mental health services in our area a reality.

A special thank you to the creative vision and Pop! Committee led by
co-chairs Amy Hansen and Marissa Downs.

You are a piece of the PUZZLE

Life is a puzzle in many ways for youngsters in our community, and we need your help to ensure Catalpa can be the solution! As part of this year's experience, we partnered with a master puzzle maker, Mystery League, and our Pop! friend and local artist, Kat Gottlieb, to create custom Catalpa family-friendly puzzles.

The first 3 puzzles were digital and available to all of our Pop! guests. You can check out what they were and try solving by clicking here.

But wait...what was the final puzzle?
For those who gave $150 or more through Pop!, a special multi-part family friendly puzzle was included with your Pop! in a Box experience. This puzzle is not your average puzzle, a series of artifacts and brainteasers help you complete the puzzle. We hope you had fun!

ABOUT CATALPA HEALTH
One in every five kids is affected by a mental health disorder. Catalpa Health is a non-profit mental health clinic formed in 2012 to improve the mental health and well-being of kids and families. We're here to serve kids ages birth-18 through clinical therapy, psychology, and psychiatry services.
Over the last year we've served nearly 9,000 kids throughout clinics in Appleton, Oshkosh and Waupaca and 50 schools within Northeast Wisconsin.

As schools closed in response to the COVID19 pandemic, we also closed all Catalpa Health physical locations and suspended in-person therapy sessions for the safety of kids and families who walk through our doors every day and our team members. We made the transition of mental health services (including therapy and psychiatry/medication management) to telehealth (video and audio) for existing client families, and for those newly looking for somewhere to turn.

Now, all kids and families have access to effective clinical care right where they are. Same week virtual appointments are available by calling 920.750.7000.
