Pop! in a Box
the signature fundraising experience for catalpa health
While we're heartbroken we can't share the magic of Pop! with you face-to-face in 2020, we knew we had to press on and find a way to bring you the Pop! experience you've come to know, anticipate and love - all while supporting local kiddos and families in need of mental health services.
This year instead of purchasing a ticket to attend Pop! in person, we're asking for your monetary donation through a new experience that will directly support Catalpa Health services.
By making a donation of $150 or more, you will receive a special Pop! in a Box filled with fabulous items and a multi-part puzzle as a thank you for your generosity in supporting this mission.
In true Pop! fashion we have to keep you on your toes.
So... you will not know what you will be getting in these special boxes.
What we can tell you is that these boxes will be delivered to your door by our very special Pop! volunteer crew on
September 11th and September 12th.
We thank you on behalf of our Catalpa kids and families, and our Pop! Committee led by co-chairs Amy Hansen and Marissa Downs.
You are a piece of the PUZZLE
3 Digital Puzzles: Complimentary and available to all friends of Pop!
Life is a puzzle in many ways for youngsters in our community, and we need your help to ensure Catalpa can be the solution! As part of this year's experience, we've partnered with a master puzzle maker and our Pop! friend and local artist Kat Gottlieb to create custom Catalpa family-friendly puzzles.
The first 3 puzzles will be digital and available to all of our Pop! guests. You can register to receive these puzzles by clicking here OR follow Catalpa Health on social media.
Stuck? We will have hints to help you along the way.
When you think you solved the puzzle, submit your answer for a chance to win a $50 gift card.
The more puzzles you solve, the better your chance to win!
But wait ... there's more!
For those who give $150 or more, you will recieve a special multi-part, family friendly puzzle, the centerpiece of this years event, with your Pop! in a Box. This puzzle is not your average puzzle, a series of artifacts and brainteasers will help you complete the puzzle.

ABOUT CATALPA HEALTH
One in every five kids is affected by a mental health disorder. Catalpa Health is a non-profit mental health clinic formed in 2012 to improve the mental health and well-being of kids and families. We're here to serve kids ages birth-18 through clinical therapy, psychology, and psychiatry services.
Over the last year we've served nearly 9,000 kids throughout clinics in Appleton, Oshkosh and Waupaca and 50 schools within Northeast Wisconsin.
As schools closed in response to the COVID19 pandemic, we also closed all Catalpa Health physical locations and suspended in-person therapy sessions for the safety of kids and families who walk through our doors every day and our team members. We made the transition of mental health services (including therapy and psychiatry/medication management) to telehealth (video and audio) for existing client families, and for those newly looking for somewhere to turn.
Now, all kids and families have access to effective clinical care right where they are. Same week virtual appointments are available by calling 920.750.7000.
Our signature fundraiser pops-up in an unexpected location each year with a brand new theme and inspiration. Hints at the theme and location are unveiled leading up to the event. Each year means an unexpected new location and a brand new theme, for the same important cause.
In 2017, we popped up atop a parking garage for a Havana Night.
In 2018, we transformed a former paper mill into a Tokyo-inspired cityscape.
In 2019, characters from the "Where the Wild Things Are" book emerged with more than 350 guests at the former George Banta Publishing Company warehouse in Menasha, WI; raising more than $213,000
to support the kids and families we serve.
We can't wait to wow you again in 2020 - all to raise funds to improve the mental health and wellness of our kiddos and families.
